I see so many people beset by illness, and I am overall healthy.<\/li>\n<li>Living in Upstate New York because it&#8217;s only snow compared to wildfires, mudslides, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes&#8230;it&#8217;s only snow.<\/li>\n<li>Being able to go on writing retreats with colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Being safe and snug when the weather is nasty. I love looking outside at bad weather when I&#8217;m dry and warm.<\/li>\n<li>Like-minded friends to do things with.<\/li>\n<li>My husband&#8217;s sense of humor. We laugh at the same things<\/li>\n<li>My doctor and his staff. They are warm and caring.<\/li>\n<li>My husband taking care of me when I&#8217;m under the weather. He brings home chicken soup!<\/li>\n<li>Blank spaces on my calendar that give me time to muse.<\/li>\n<li>Staying open minded, which keeps me open to new experiences.<\/li>\n<li>The woman who was my mother&#8217;s companion the last months of her life. She truly is an angel.<\/li>\n<li>Having four library cards. If what I want isn&#8217;t at one place, it&#8217;s likely to be in another.<\/li>\n<li>Finding a place near me that offers a wide variety of classes at affordable prices.<\/li>\n<li>Date nights with my husband.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And this is only part of January and February.
