Back in the 1990s (I think), several office building complexes were built in the suburbs. They are beautiful spaces. Most of the companies who built them are long gone, but their legacies remain. The landscaping is gorgeous, too. There is usually a pond or some other water feature, I guess to contribute to the calmness of the workers.
Here’s the thing, though. In upstate New York, water features attract wild water fowl. Like geese. Which are mean creatures. And they poop. A lot. Everywhere.
I take classes in one of these complexes and have to be very careful where I step. I suppose it could be worse. They could mess on my car–or my head!
I only wish the people who plan these things took all of nature into account.
